After the screening, we’ll engage in a brief discussion, reflecting on courage, leadership, and the ongoing fight for Black liberation. This gathering is designed to inspire, educate, and empower, rooted in abolitionist principles that continue to guide our movement. Arizona has faced decades of attacks on public education, from chronic defunding, voucher programs, and bills to silence teachers and hurt kids. Our state budget does NOT reflect a state that cares about children or their future. NOW, attacks on the Dept. of Education threaten to hurt disabled students, low-income students, Native students — all of our kids. We are joining together on Wednesday, March 5th to demand that our state lawmakers and the current Administration stop the attacks on our kids, our educators, our families, our public schools, and our communities. We will not stand down when our kids are at risk!!!! Messages: Protect Our Kids Protect Undocumented, Immigrant, LGBTQ+ and Disabled Kids Stop political Attacks on Our Kids Fund Our Students Our Students Deserve Better Fund Our Schools
